Female, age 10. She was referred for investigation with a history of symptomatic focal epilepsy. At the time of investigation there had been an increase in seizures which included blank episodes and jerks. She presented with difficulties in verbal comprehension and memory. Her MRI revealed Right perisylvian polymicrogyria. Medication included Leviteracetum and Carbmazepine. Investigations were to consider epilepsy surgery, though the extent of the polymicrogyria rendered this a difficult option.
